Actor Chris Hemsworth has a lot to look forward to, including big film projects and a new season of his National Geographic series.

Hemsworth is perhaps most recognized for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has confirmed that he will be returning in Avengers: Doomsday, which is slated for a December 2026 release. While it was hoped that scenes filmed in Scotland would be featured in the movie, which acted as New Asgard in earlier films, Hemsworth has revealed that Scotland will not be in the next Avengers movie. He did say he had good memories of filming there and would love to go back one day!

Nor is that the end with respect to upcoming projects. That will be followed by Crime 101, based upon the novella written by Don Winslow, and releases in February 2026. It also stars actors Mark Ruffalo and Halle Berry, both of whom are involved in the project as producers.

Hemsworth will also star in Stuntnuts: The Movie, a new installment of the Kick-Ass world. Directed by Damien Walters, a former stuntman, the film promises to be a hybrid of action and comedy.  Hemsworth will reprise is role as himself, alongside actor Sam Rockwell, and the film has some fun ideas for Hemsworth beyond the usual action star roles.

Happily, Hemsworth fans will not have to wait until 2026 to see him do what he does best. The second season of his docuseries, now called Limitless: Live Better Now, comes to Disney+ and Hulu August 15. In the new season, Hemsworth undertakes a range of personal and physical challenges, from training with Special Forces in South Korea and singing live on stage with Ed Sheeran in Romania. The series continues an exploration of health, longevity, and living a better life, themes Hemsworth has embodied on and off the screen.

Chris Hemsworth stepped out with his family at the London premiere of Limitless: Live Better Now, the upcoming Season 2 of his National Geographic series. Hemsworth, 39, walked the red carpet with wife Elsa Pataky and their twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, 11-years-old.

This family public appearance is not common since the Hemsworth children are generally kept away from the limelight. The boys looked smart, one in a black tuxedo with the other in a black suit, both sports sneakers with their tuxedos and suit, for a street smart red-carpet look.

Hemsworth wore a navy suit with white sneakers - a relaxed, modern look. Pataky wore a sparkling silver dress. Also in attendance were Hemsworth's younger brother, Liam, and Liam's partner Gabriella Brooks. Finally, Hemsworth's parents Creg and Leonie Hemsworth also attended the event. Hemsworth's daughter, India Rose, 13, was not in attendance at the premiere.

Although Chris Hemsworth is one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, he and Elsa Pataky have long prioritized raising their children away from the limelight. The couple speaks proudly about the effort they put into providing solid, grounded, and normal lives for their kids, despite their own famous lives.

The London premiere was a rare chance for fans to catch Sasha and Tristan, who Hemsworth has previously shared are both very different personalities. Taciturn told GQ Australia in 2022 that one son is "more adventurous and artistic" and the other is a "calmer athletic one."

Over the years, the Hemsworth family has shown up to support Chris at important life events, including his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2024 and the Australian premiere of 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga', but it's not a common sight to see the twins at the same level of event as this one.

Hemsworth has shared with many publications historically about making career decisions by what is best for his family. He has taken time from filming to be home more often and seems to maintain a degree of privacy with his personal life.

More rumors have circulated about who Hemsworth wanted to spend time with, if he was still having issues in his marriage to Pataky. Pataky has already made one public statement regarding rumors and made it clear the couple is still together and committed to raising their family.

Not only does Hemsworth have several films and television series coming up, he was also given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in May of 2024 as recognition for his work. He also garnered accolades for his portrayal in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga which won a nomination from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA).

With a strong cohort of new roles, wellness, and time for family, Chris Hemsworth is yet again demonstrating that he is able to balance a life in the foreground of the public eye, while also recognizing what matters most.
